John Paul previously worked in juvenile justice, currently works in criminal justice. ​John Paul Torres has nearly 20 years of experience in the criminal justice field serving as a Probation Officer, Program Director and Court Administrator throughout his career. ​

As a Waterford School Board Trustee, John Paul has represented and advocated for the Waterford School District at the national, state and county level.
