John Paul Torres supports our veterans. As a Township Trustee, John Paul would assist to ensure that funding for Veterans Courts and collaborations with veteran programs are reflected in the Township’s annual budget. As a court administrator, John Paul has collaborated with numerous veteran groups on how to best serve veterans in the justice system and those suffering from PTSD and addiction issues. He has advocated for and worked to expand the use of Veteran Treatment Courts. As an Oakland County Health Network Board Member, John Paul has sought to best continue treatment for veterans in OCHN’s network and has supported initiatives for veteran housing and social programs. John Paul’s father is a United States Army Veteran and he currently has twin nephews and a niece serving in the armed forces. The United States Marine Corps, United States Army, and United States Navy respectively.
